Indian cricket fans attributed the failure to the captaincy, the player’s lack of intent, poor management, the coaching staff, and the selection of the team for the defeat in the semifinal.

Pakistani fans posted hilarious memes on social media. Pakistani political leaders, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Fawad Chaudhry, Asad Umar, and others trolled the Indian cricket team.
Fawad Chaudhry said the Indian got a safe passage after losing to England in the semifinal. A cricket analyst said India is the only team in the history of T20 cricket to lose with ten wickets. Last year, Pakistan defeated India after the opening duo of Babar Azam, and Muhammad Rizwan chased the target of 152 runs.
