Karan Johar has revealed the release date of Student of the Year 2 with a new poster. In a tweet, he informed that the second instalment of the campus drama movie will release on November 23rd, 2018.
Johar has also promised to announce two new female leads for the movie next month.
He tweeted, “SOTY 2 will release worldwide on the 23rd of November 2018! The two new leading ladies will be announced next month! The franchise forges ahead under the baton of director @punitdmalhotra …@foxstarhindi @apoorvamehta18 @iTIGERSHROFF.”

Tiger Shroff, who began his career with ‘Heropanti’ will be the male lead for Student of the Year 2.
The posters from the movie suggest that sharp-featured Shroff will be playing a spoilt brat in the film.Â

Tiger Shroff is waiting for another breakthrough since his first flick in 2014. It is hoped that the SOTY 2 will provide that major leap forward he has been waiting for.
In his first movie, Tiger Shroff played the perfect action hero. It would be interesting to see how he will play the role of a spoilt brat from an elite school in SOTY 2.
Earlier Karan Johar launched three powerful performers with Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Malhotra, and Varun Dhawan in the first instalment of the movie that was released in 2012.
Recently Karan Johar denied the rumors that claimed he has contacted Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar for the female lead.
Speculators also claimed that Karan Johar has finalized Chunkey Pandey’s daughter Ananya Pandey and Disha Patani for the female lead. However, he refused to comment on the news.

Punit Malhotra, who has previously delivered box office flops like Gori Tere Pyaar Mein and I Hate Luv Story will direct Student of the Year 2.
