Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) just recently bagged two prestigious awards in a press report issued last week. The 1st Prize for Best Employment Practices and CEO of the Year Award by any Large National Company were won by MPCL at the 6th Employer of the Year Awards. The Employers’ Federation of Pakistan organized the award ceremony in Karachi on the 28th of November.
Chief Guest at the occasion happened to be Sayed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari, currently also serving as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister as well as the Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis & HRD. This year marks the second time MPCL won the first prize at an awards ceremony showcasing its premium employment practices. CEO of the Year Award was received by the company on the basis of scoring the highest marks in every area of the competition.

In other news, Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) alongside other competitors has undertaken successful Exploration and Production (E & P) activities during the year. The discovery of a viable oil well in Kachi district of Balochistan province was made last September at an expected flow of 1500 bpd of oil.
