Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz attends the passing parade of female officers of the Punjab Police donning the uniform of Punjab Police.

Pictures of Maryam Nawaz attending and taking part in the parade in the Police uniform are circulating on social media. Netizens are giving mixed reviews on a new stunt pulled by Maryam Nawaz.

Her supporters and followers are praising her for donning the Police uniform marking her support and encouragement for the female police officers. While opponents are calling it another publicity stunt. PMLN social media accounts are boasting and sharing her pictures with captions like “DABANG CM MARYAM NAWAZ SHARIF!”. In another tweet, they said: “پنجاب دی محافظ!”.

Anchorperson Asadullah Khan said that “This advice may also have been given by the tik-tok friends that Madam Kamal has a great idea and madam is also fond of taking pictures without knowing what she is doing.”

Sharing her pictures, the official account of PMLN wrote: “Following in her father’s footsteps, CM Maryam Nawaz exemplifies support for Punjab police, including the women officers, by donning the police uniform.”

In another news, CM Maryam Nawaz traveled to Kartarpur on Thursday with a copter, says the Punjab Government and denied the claims of Maryam Nawaz’s motorcade hitting and killing a boy at Narowal. The provincial Government has denied these accusations.

The spokesperson of the Punjab Government said that CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz has taken notice of the incident. The case has been registered and an inquiry has been started on the orders of Maryam Nawaz.

The Punjab government gave Rs. 2.5 million to the family of youth. Narrowal Deputy Commissioner Syed Hasan Raza and MPA Iqbal went to the residence of the victim to deliver the cheque. They expressed condolence to the parents of the deceased.
