The son of Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa tied the knot in Islamabad this weekend in Army House. President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan attended the Walima reception of COAS’s son in Islamabad on Monday.
The wedding pictures of Nikah and Valima reception of Saad Siddiqui Bajwa is going viral on the internet. Saad Siddiqui Bajwa tied the knot with Mahnoor Sabir, the daughter of renowned businessman Sabir Hameed two days ago. Besides PM Khan and President Alvi, several other dignitaries were also present at the Walima reception. The National Assembly Member and Pakistan People Party’s leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari along with his father and former President Asif Ali Zardari also attended the Walima reception.

Moreover, former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Finance Minister Asad Umar were also present. Punjab and Sindh’s chief ministers Usman Buzdar and Murad Ali Shah were also there. Chief Justice Saqib Nisar also attended the ceremony.
The notable members of Federal Cabinet and Punjab Cabinet including Chaudhary Pervaiz Illahi speaker Punjab Assembly, Jehangir Tareen of Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf, Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Federal Information Minister Chaudhary Fawad Hussain, Federal Minister for Railway Sheikh Rasheed graced the event.
Former COAS Gen Raheel Sharif, Gen (retd) Aslam Baig, Gen (retd) Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani, Â Aitzaz Ahsan and Syed Khursheed Shah also attended the event. All the Corps Commander and high officials of Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy, and Pakistan Air Force were also present at the event.

COAS Bajwa also invited several foreign dignitaries including the British High Commissioner and Envoys of Afghanistan and United States to the Walima reception. Celebrities like singer Shehzad Roy and former cricketer Shoaib Akhter were also spotted at the event.
Hopefully, the Walima reception of COAS’s son provided an environment for the politicians and military leadership to socialize amicably under one roof.
