Hina Parvez Butt, Pakistan Muslim League’ leader has submitted a resolution in Punjab Assembly demanding the United Nations to revoke Priyanka Chopra’s status as the Goodwill ambassador of peace and Human Rights. Priyanka Chopra has been appointed as the UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador.
Hina Butt stated that Priyanka Chopra has demeaned her status as an ambassador of peace since she appreciated the Indian Air Force’s aggressive move of breaching the airspace of Pakistan.
Last week, Priyanka Chopra cheered the Indian Air Force in her tweet. Netizens from Pakistan condemned Priyanka Chopra as her tweet was considered to be an ill-thought appreciation that could have incited a full-fledged destructive war between India and Pakistan.

The resolution has argued that Priyanka Chopra with respect to her status as Goodwill Ambassador should have vouched for global peace and friendly environment. Hence she has failed to meet the requirement of her designation.

“She praised India’s military on the crossing of LOC & celebrated an attempt of war against Pakistan. We need to Stop war supporting celebrities from representing the UN!!” Butt wrote on Twitter.

Also, Pakistani actor Armeena Khan reproached Bollywood’s Priyanka Chopra for propagating Indian aggression and war when she herself is a United Nation’s Goodwill ambassador.
Armeena Khan took to Twitter and bashed her for being a hypocrite. She quoting her tweet stated, “WHAT?!!! But aren’t you supposed to be a Good Will ambassador for @UNICEF? Screenshot this everyone and next time she speaks up for peace and goodwill. Let’s remind her of this hypocrisy.”

Many other Bollywood celebrities were also seen praising the warmongering mind set of Indian government after Indian Air Force’s yesterday’s violation of Pakistan’s airspace on LoC Kashmir.
Pakistan’s Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry had also slammed Bollywood actress Preity Zinta on Twitter.
