A Railway Police officer has set a commendable example of honesty as he returned a bag full of valuables to a female passenger. The passenger had forgotten her bag on Shah Hussain Express, reported ARY News on Saturday.
According to the reports, Mohammad Nadeem and his wife were travelling from Rohri to Karachi. The family forgot their luggage at Landhi Station in haste. Railway Police Constable Muhammad Hanif found the bag in Boggie no. 13 during patrolling.

He found the purse and brought it to the Railway Police Help Center in Karachi. Railway Police checked the bag and found a mobile phone, a mobile phone charger, 2 identity cards, two cheque-books, a men’s wrist watch and other valuable items.

The Railway Police contacted the family. The family reached Railway Police Help Center Karachi Cantt and received their belongings. The family thanked Railway Police for exceptional public service.
But this is not the first the Railway Police have facilitated passengers. Back in 2019, Railway Police returned a bag full of valuables, including gold jewellery, to a passenger, Nasreen Bibi, who travelled from Khanpur to Hyderabad in Pakistan Express. The woman broke into tears when police handed over her the bag.
