Sadia Khan and Mikal Zulfikar will unite for an ISPR film

Actor Sadia Khan and Mikal Zulfikar will unite on screen for an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) film based on the events of 1971 partition. The handsome Mikal Zulfikar will be essaying the role of a young Pakistani boy who is a student leader while gorgeous Sadia Khan will be playing a Bengali girl.

Talking to the local media outlet Zulfikar stated that “This one will be an ISPR production and will be a love story with Sadia Khan and me in the lead. The story of the film is set amongst the background of Dhaka Fall in 1971.”

Along with the love story set between a Pakistani boy and a Bengali girl, the movie will also feature a fierce battle between the armed forces of East and West Bengal and will cover up events that led to the fall of Dhaka in 1971.

The female lead Sadia Khan while elaborating the details of the venture stated, “It takes the viewer back to the 70s and shows the struggle of the people,” she further added, “It managed to intrigue me since it’s very different from what we get to see these days.”

The title of the movie and the release date are yet to be announced, however, it will surely be released in 2019. The movie is helmed by actor-turned-director Kamran Shahid. Besides Khan and Zulfikar, the movie will also feature Shamoon Abbasi, Ayesha Omar, Resham, Ally Khan, and Mehmood Aslam.

Mikal Zulfikar has already appeared in the feature film Sherdil, a tribute to the Pakistan Air Force in which he played Lieutenant Haris, a fighter pilot.

The fans and followers are already excited to see their favorites uniting on screen. The viewers are anxious to experience the love chemistry between the beautiful lead couple in the movie.
