Since then social media has brimmed with hilarious reactions. Some condemned Shoaib Malik and others showed support for Sania Mirza. The news of the marriage came following divorce rumors of Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik.
The news of the split between them was rife on social media. However, none of them came to clear the air on their divorce.
On Saturday evening, Sania Mirza released the statement through her sister Anam Mirza on social media.

“Sania has always kept her personal life away from the public eye. However, today the need has arisen for her to share that Shoaib and she have been divorced for a few months now. She wishes Shoaib well for his new journey ahead!” read a statement posted by Mirza’s father Imran.

However, she decided to leave Shoaib Malik after irreconcilable differences. The family of Shoaib Malik is not happy with his marriage to Sana Javed. They attempted to settle the differences between the couple. The families of both athletes traveled to Dubai to settle the matter, however, no result was achieved.
