Actor Shaan Shahid tweeted in support of Asim Saleem Bajwa. Bajwa is the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Imran Khan on Information and Broadcasting.
The actor in his recent tweet supported the former Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa following an upheaval on social media after the release of assets information of PM’s advisers and special assistants.

According to the details, SAPM on Information and Broadcast retired Lt Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa has immovable property is worth Rs151.433 million — two in Islamabad, two in Karachi, two in Lahore and one each in Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalpur. The documents have listed one car, the Toyota ZX 2016, worth Rs3 million.

Two bank accounts in Islamabad have Rs291,000 and Rs1,239, respectively. Lt Gen Bajwa also has a foreign currency account in Rawalpindi containing $4,149.
But, social media users mocked Asim Saleem Bajwa for purchasing a car worth Rs.3 million. The assets declaration information triggered a massive campaign on social media. Twitter users demanded Asim Saleem Bajwa to submit the money trail. They urged Bajwa to explain his means of earning and how he built these declared assets.
