Sir Vivian Richards, Quetta Gladiators coach, Congratulates Imran Khan

Former West Indian Cricketer Sir Vivian Richards congratulated Imran Khan over his phenomenal victory in the General Elections 2018. Sir Vivian Richards released an audio message on his Twitter that praised Imran Khan, his followers and the party for the success.

“I know I haven’t played against you for many years. You have been one of the most competitive individual that I would have ever encountered. I know for sure, that you would take that same passion into your leadership and trying to help the people of your country.

Sir Vivian Richards is a renowned name in Pakistan, since he is the coach of the Quetta Gladiators- a franchise of Pakistan Super League. He enjoys a cordial relation with the people of Pakistan.

The cricketing world also congratulated Imran Khan for his victory. Cricketers like Ian Bishop, Sanjay Manjrekar, Rajeev Shukla, Russel Arnold stated Imran Khan has got all the characteristics of leading his country towards a better future. Kapil Dev in his interview reiterated that he found Imran Khan as a positive and ambitious man who can fight for the cause untiringly.

Legendary actors like Simi Garewal, Rishi Kapoor congratulated Imran Khan and expressed best wishes for him. Actress Raveena Tandon appreciated the people of Pakistan for their overwhelming support for democracy but bashed her own media for hasty judgments over Khan’s victory. Also other celebrities like Gul Panang, Sophie Chaudhry, Ayushman Khurana, too, expressed warm wishes for Pakistan and Imran Khan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also called  Prime Minister elect Imran Khan to congratulate him on his victory. Both the leaders expressed their wish for the stable relations between the two countries.
