Video of bandits dancing in Sindh after killing policemen goes viral

The bodies of the injured and dead were moved to the hospital. No arrests have been made so far and no FIR has been registered of the incident.

The alleged video of bandits dancing after killing policemen goes viral in Sindh on Sunday night. The bandits killed three policemen and injured four others during a clash in Shikarpur.

The police had conducted a search operation in Garhi Taigu where the suspects fired rocket launchers after which the exchange of fire ensued between them. The bodies of the injured and dead were moved to the hospital. No arrests have been made so far and no FIR has been registered of the incident.

According to the police, the suspects have kidnapped two men earlier this week. The operation was conducted to rescue them. PTI opposition member in Sindh Assembly, Haleem Adil Sheikh, visited the hospital and lauded the bravery of policemen.

Later the bandits released their videos dancing wearing bullet-proof jackets and the fast-armored vehicle of police on social media. Injured policemen also released their videos from inside the vehicle calling for help. As shared by a Twitter user, the policemen said that they don’t have advanced weapons like bandits and hence they are unable to fight with them. He called SSP Shikarpur for help.

They also seized the vehicle and jackets of policemen and danced with their weapons and guns in the video. They threatened to kill the policemen again the same way if they returned.

The videos have triggered an onslaught of criticism against the Sindh government for not providing the advanced equipment to policemen and letting them die by the handful of dacoits and bandits.

Social media users have voiced concerns that if the police are unable to protect themselves, then how will they protect the civilians? A group questioned why Sindh Police and Sindh government have not provided policemen with proper training and weapons to fight the bandits and protect themselves.
