Former PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry came under scrutiny after being spotted at the launching ceremony of Jahangir Tareen’s Istihkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), looking stressed out for some reason.
To clarify, the IPP was launched by Jahangir Tareen on Thursday, the former close aide of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, with an aim to give “new direction” to the country’s politics.
Several PTI deserts, who quit the Khan-led party over May 9 riots that saw attacks on defence and public installations, have reportedly joined Jahangir Tareen’s ranks.
Fawad Chaudhry was among the senior PTI leaders who jumped the ship only a few days ago with a pledge that they would be taking a “break from politics.” However, he has joined Jahangir Tareen’s IPP.

Fawad Chaudhry was seen as an outspoken spokesperson of Imran Khan who always remained at the forefront to defend the PTI against the criticism of his political rival. It came as quite a shock to the massed when Fawad Chaudhry parted ways with PTI.
Therefore, his videos and images from the launch of Jahangir Tareen’s IPP have gone viral on social media as his body language comes under intense scrutiny. The former PTI leader could be seen covering his face and looking visibly disturbed during the entire launch.

Newly formed IPP’s leader Ishaq Khan Khakwani said a seat was reserved at the stage for Fawad Chaudhry but he choose to sit with the audience during the launch of the IPP.
Speaking to the media, Ishaq Khakwani said that Fawad Chaudhry’s sitting place was reserved at the stage during the launch of the party, but he did not sit there.
“Fawad Chaudhry did not meet party chief Jahangir Tareen and me during the launch of IPP,” Khakwani was quoted as saying.
“What Fawad Chaudhry was thinking, only he can tell,” Khakwani responded to another query and also revealed that Jahangir Tareen appreciated Fawad Chaudhry’s joining and warmly welcomed him to the party.
