Voter shames Raja Riaz for selling vote in leaked audiotape

On Thursday, a video of MNAs of PTI from Sindh House in Islamabad circulated on social media. Raja Riaz and several other PTI MNAs were spotted in the leaked video from Sindh House in Islamabad.

PTI Minister Ali Zaidi shared the alleged leaked audiotape of a party member, Raja Riaz, who is alleged to be a part of horse-trading and selling his vote to the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

On Thursday, a video of MNAs of PTI from Sindh House in Islamabad circulated on social media. Raja Riaz and several other PTI MNAs were spotted in the leaked video from Sindh House in Islamabad. Later, Raja Riaz had announced that he and 24 other PTI MNAs have decided to side with the opposition parties for a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.

In the alleged audiotape, Raja Riaz could be heard talking to one of his supporters who is shaming him for selling his vote. The voter shamed him for siding with PPP against PM Imran Khan. The voter said they are disappointed to see his videos appearing from Sindh House. He added that he should have resigned from his parliamentary seat before joining hands with the opposition. The voter said that they did not vote him Riaz for selling out himself to Asif Ali Zardari.

The voter added that people are shaming him in his constituency and that he should have resigned first before joining the opposition. His harsh words left Raja Riaz speechless who could not defend himself.

Meanwhile, Ali Zaidi wrote a few couplets in the Urdu language which implied that this is the first of many such revelations against the PTI members who have sided with the opposition to make the no-confidence motion against PM Imran Khan successful.

PTI’s other dissident MNA, Ramesh Kumar, claims that 33 MNAs have joined the opposition from the ruling party. Ali Haider Zaidi says that nearly 400 officials from Sindh Police have been deployed at Sindh House ith ‘ulterior motives to sabotage the political system in the country’, terming them the ‘Zardari mafia’s private army’.

The alleged leaked audio clip had triggered another online debate. Many are slamming Raja Riaz for compromising the trust of his voter others believe the audio clip should not have been shared.
