Younger brother of Sarfaraz Ahmed joins Pakistan Navy

Earlier, Sarfaraz Ahmed had the honor of having his biography added to the fourth grade of the Urdu syllabus. Sarfaraz Ahmed shared the picture of the page from the textbook on his official Twitter account on Friday.

Brother of former skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed joins Pakistan Navy. The cricketer shared the development on his social media platform. Sarfaraz Ahmed shared the picture with his younger brother Abdul Rehman on his Instagram and Twitter accounts.

He said, “Mashallah, my brother,” in the post. Felicitations started pouring in for the cricketer and his family. Sarfaraz’s brother is dressed in the Navy uniform in the picture shared by the cricketer.

In his Twitter post, he said, “Thank you! This is a big honor for me. As role models, we endeavor to inspire children. I would always be there to play my part in these efforts @SindhGovt1 @sindhBoard.”

The cricketer also released a video message on social media expressing gratitude to the Sindh provincial government for honoring him. Sarfaraz Ahmed is being hailed as the skipper of Pakistan who lead the Pakistan cricket team to historic triumphs in the Champion Trophy in 2017 against arch-rival India. He is currently not part of the Pakistan Cricket Team of any format. He also won the Under 19 Cricket World Cup for Pakistan in 2006. Sarfaraz Ahmed is not part of the team T20 squad of the Pakistan Cricket Team.

In his recent tweet, the cricketer Sarfaraz Ahmed recently wished the team for T20 World Cup 2022. “Great win against the top Team before the World Cup.@mnawaz94 Kiya Baat hai apke Mashallah wish u all the best boys for the upcoming World Cup pe jaw saare nu @babarazam258,” said Sarfaraz Ahmed in his tweet. Muhammad Nawaz, who plays along with Sarfaraz Ahmed in the PSL franchise Quetta, Gladiator, thanked Sarfaraz Ahmed.
