Aisha Khan to marry soon after waving goodbye the entertainment industry

Pakistani actress Aisha Khan has announced to tie the knot with Major Uqbah Hadeed Malik on April 15th, 2018. The actress in her social media post announced her marriage and mentioned the event will be a private family affair. Aisha Khan has also announced her departure from the entertainment industry.

In her message, Khan reiterated she has waved goodbye to the entertainment industry as she had been staying away from the limelight for a considerable period of time. She asked her fans and followers to pray for her happiness and respect her privacy.

Aisha Khan on her social media post shared a picture of her with the fiancé. The caption of the picture said: “My fiancé and I are overwhelmed with all the love and prayers that have poured in thus far.”

“I had made my announcement to leave my media career as I now prefer to stay away from the limelight. We got engaged last year and have known each other for several years before.”

According to reports, her fiancé Major Uqbah Hadeed Malik is one of the brilliant officers in Pakistan Military. He is the first Pakistan military officer to be appointed as an instructor at the British Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

Major Uqbah Malik graduated from British Royal Academy Sandhurst in 2007 and underwent training when Prince William of Wales was his fellow cadet. On March 1, Aisha Khan posted a message on her Facebook in which she announced her farewell to the entertainment industry.

The post read: the first Pakistan military officer to be appointed as an instructor at the British Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. “I have always tried to keep my professional and personal life separate and request everyone to understand please,” Aisha had said.

The actress also apologized for refusing offers and scrips from her friends in the entertainment industry.

“I would also like to let my colleagues and friends know about the limitation that I might have had in accepting new projects since 2016 out of which a few scripts stayed with me for a long time. My apologies.”
