Boxer Amir Khan and wife Faryal Makhdoom welcomed their second baby daughter Alayna Khan on Tuesday. Soon after the birth, Amir Khan shared the first picture of the baby daughter on his social media accounts.

Amir Khan shared a selfie with the baby that had a caption ‘with my newborn ALAYNA KHAN. Welcome to the world. Weighing 8lbs 3oz’, with his 1.2 million followers on Instagram.

This is couple’s second child as they already have a three-year-old daughter Lamaisah Khan.

Birth of Alayna Khan came just days after Amir Khan made his comeback in the boxing ring on Saturday night which saw him knock out his opponent Phil Lo Greco in just 40 seconds.

Faryal and Amir tied knot in an extravagant ceremony in 2013. The couple experienced a rough patch in their relationship in the second half of the last year, as they had a public spat on social media which led to the rumors of a divorce; however the couple reconciled at the beginning of New Year.

Last year in August, the couple shared hostile tweets on Twitter, blaming each other for infidelity. Later Amir Khan announced his separation from wife Faryal Makhdoom in a snap chat video.
The couple reconciled after Faryal Makhdoom issued a public apology in a lengthy message on Facebook.

Amir Khan also admitted that a lack of communication disrupted their relationship.

During his appearance with ‘other women’ Amir Khan admitted he felt lost and unproductive when he was out of the ring due to his hand injury.’Going through the hand injury that I had, not being in the boxing ring, being away from my family, going through a lot of stuff in my life, I think the best place for me is to be in the boxing ring.

When I was away from that, it took me all over the place. I lost that focus and that structure. Not being in the gym, not training, when you have all that downtime you have all that energy in your body.

‘Hopefully going into 2018 we’ve both put that behind us, we’ve got a lovely baby coming this year, we have also had Lamaisah our daughter, my boxing career, [I will] get some good fights in. What went wrong? A lack of communication’ said Amir Khan.
Faryal added: ‘it was just a misunderstanding. I was in England he was in Dubai, he thought he was a bit cool in Dubai doing some tweets.’
