Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz directed the Punjab inspector general of police to submit a report on the incident and arrest those responsible for it soon.

According to reports, ARY has been taken off cable in many areas of Islamabad, Karachi, and Sukkur. Interestingly, the government's alleged media crackdown comes ahead of PTI's Azadi March scheduled for 25th May.

Currently, the situation is very tense in Pakistan. There are also fears that the Azadi March will result in violence. Therefore, Pakistanis are urging COAS Bajwa to take action and save the country from succumbing to further crisis. 

Abid Sher Ali confirmed that Nawaz Sharif will also come to Pakistan soon. Recalling the conviction of former prime minister, Abid Sher Ali claimed that the PML-N supremo was given a sentence on fabricated proof.

The celebrations will begin from 19th May and will carry on till 28th May. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed all four provinces of Pakistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu Kashmir to actively take part in the celebrations.

The urban jobless rate hit 6.1% in April, up from 5.8% in March — which was already at a 21-month high. The only time China's jobless rate was higher was in February 2020.
