Cricketer and skipper Babar Azam was taken aback after knowing that Imad Wasim had been dropped from the playing squad. He has vowed to raise the matter ahead of the top brass of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
“Babar Azam feels there are way too many changes in the T20 Squad,” says an English newspaper quoted him as saying.
Azam is of the view that many players have been dropped unfairly as they were not given much chance to play in the previous series.
Besides him, other players and experts have also expressed surprise at the exclusion of some players from the T20 squad.
Babar Azam wants the inclusion of Imad Wasim in the team. Meanwhile, Muhammad Wasim has denied reports of any rifts and disagreements on the selection of the team.
