Jemima Goldsmith recalls her late old friend, Princess Diana, in a tweet on Sunday after watching the latest Season 4 of The Crown on Netflix.

In a tweet, Goldsmith shared her thoughts about Emma Corrin’s portrayal of her friend, Diana. The fourth season of ‘The Crown’ features the entry of Diana into the royal family and her tumultuous journey thereafter. She also appreciated the actress’s flawless depiction of Diana by Corrin.

Goldsmith further added that Corrin has accurately channeled the shyness of Diana in the documentary. “Season 4 of The Crown in my honest opinion is the best yet. Emma Corrin has captured all the magic of shy Di,” wrote Diana in a tweet

“It only came out today and I’m on a deadline but that hasn’t stopped me from watching 5 episodes already,” she said.

Jemima shared a closed bonding with Diana. The two ladies were often spotted together on various occasions. Diana even visited Jemima in Lahore in 1996.

In one of her interviews with Vanity Fair, Jemima revealed that Diana used to discuss with her the idea of loving the Pakistani men. At that time, Goldsmith was married to the current prime minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan.

“Diana was madly in love with Hasnat Khan and wanted to marry him, even if that meant living in Pakistan, and that’s one of the reasons why we became friends. She wanted to know how hard it had been for me to adapt to life in Pakistan,” said Jemima Goldsmith.
