Karakoram Highway ranked among the world’s most beautiful roads

Famous for its views ranging from barren lands to rocky mountains,  Pakistan’s Karakoram Highway has been ranked the 14th most beautiful road in the world.

Karakoram Highway starts from Havelian and takes you through multiple beautiful cities such as Mansehra, Abbottabad, Besham, and Hunza.

The 1,300km long road connects China with Gilgit Baltistan. It was built by the countries over a span of 20 years.

In its documentary, the BBC had also mentioned how the KKH is one of the highest paved roads on earth and acts as a major trade route between Pakistan and China. It also said the road was completely developed, smooth and safe to travel.
