In a recent interview with Fox News, JD Vance commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir for their effective mediation efforts. He described both leaders as “exceptional hosts” who demonstrated genuine statesmanship in bringing Washington and Tehran to the negotiating table, helping create space for constructive engagement.

Pakistan’s diplomatic initiative has also received recognition in the United Kingdom. Speaking in Parliament, Muhammad Afzal highlighted Islamabad’s leading role in easing tensions between the two adversaries.
