PM Khan hails patience of martyr Rashid’s wife

Prime Minister Imran Khan has shared the latest video of the wife of martyr Naeem Rashid who lost his life while saving the lives of fellow worshippers during violent Christchurch mosque’s shooting.

A short video clip of Ambreen Rashid’s interview, a widow of Naeem Rashid went viral on social media in which she is seen speaking her heart out calmly despite being devastated after losing her husband and the eldest son in the terrorist attack.

Prime Minister Imran Khan in his tweet said, “For all those within & outside the Muslim world these words of Shaheed Naeem Rashid’s wife should make everyone understand the power of faith in Allah & Prophet Muhammed PBUH.”

Prime Minister Imran Khan hailed the courage and patience of the lady. PM Khan by quoting her statements gave a powerful and decisive message to the world and proponents of Islamophobia regarding the true essence of the religion of Islam.

Ambreen Rashid in an answer to a question about what is keeping her strong in this calamity besides her faith said that her faith in Allah (God) and Prophet PBUH is the main and only thing that is keeping her strong. She also said that she feels pity for the shooter who has so much hate in his heart instead of love. She said that the reason behind her calmness is her strong faith in her God.

Prime Minister Imran Khan in his tweet said, “For all those within & outside the Muslim world these words of Shaheed Naeem Rashid’s wife should make everyone understand the power of faith in Allah & Prophet Muhammed PBUH.”

“How this faith in Allah and his Prophet PBUH transforms humans into strong & loving beings who can even feel pity for a terrorist, a mass murderer, who took away their loved ones,” said in another tweet.

Meanwhile, supporting inter-faith harmony Prime Minister Imran Khan wished the Hindu community celebrating the religious festival of Holi in Pakistan and internationally.

He tweeted, “Wishing our Hindu community a very happy and peaceful Holi, the festival of colors.”
