Netizens are trolling PMLN’s Hina Pervez Butt as she branded Maryam Nawaz as style queen in her recent tweet. Hina Pervez Butt posted a picture of Maryam Nawaz. In the caption, she wrote: “The Style Queen @MaryamNSharif @AmirMateen2.”
Journalist Amir Mateen, however, took a dig at Hina Pervez Butt and Maryam Nawaz in a series of tweets.
Being a journalist, he advised her to focus on politics instead of fashion. Journalist Amir Mateen said that if Maryam Nawaz thinks by flaunting her expensive designer accessories she will become the prime minister of Pakistan then that’s her choice.
Further slamming the politician, Mateen said: “Because you have specifically tagged me, I am taking it from you that you must have got permission from your “Style Queen” and you are doing this fashion show at their request. Hopefully, they will also make you their official designer fashion – what is the use of LUMS degree?”

“In the meantime, please add a new photo. Maybe some more votes will go up – because it looks like you want to win votes that way. However, she seems to have a lot of talent.”
Poor people don’t need a fashion show
He further asked why the men behind Maryam Nawaz were blurred in the picture.
“I have looked at this picture carefully. It has been photoshopped or treated. There are also two black and yellow servant types like us. But they have been blurred. Now I’m wondering why? Many questions come to mind. But why?!!!,” said Mateen further.
Mateen said that these poor people are the potential voters of PMLN.
“How will this daily fashion parade and the people’s cry of pain go? If possible, borrow a rubber shoe from Uncle Shahbaz Sharif which he used to take out in every flood. We knew the truth, but believe me, it is still remembered today,” he said in the conclusion of his argument.
Other social media users also mocked Hina Butt after her tweet calling Maryam Nawaz- the ‘Style Queen’ went viral on Twitter.
