Increase in terror activities

Pakistan is witnessing a surge in terror incidents for the last few days. Balochistan continues to remain a victim of terror attacks with terrorists targetting security forces.

To clarify, a few days ago, armed terrorists attacked two security posts in the Panjgur and Naushki districts of Balochistan. The attack triggered a gun-battle that killed at least four attackers and a soldier. The newly formed separatist Balochistan Nationalist Army claimed responsibility for the attacks in a post on Twitter.

As a result, Pakistan forces launched a clean-up operation. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations statement, twenty terrorists were killed during the operations while nine security personnel embraced martyrdom.
