Star cricketer Shahid Afridi has alerted that his daughter Ansha Afridi does not have any social media account. He informed social media users that not only Ansha but his other daughters are also not active on social media. He asked users to disregard any social media account made in the name of his daughters.
Shahid Afridi shared the screenshot of the fake Twitter account made in the name of his daughter Ansha Afridi. The account holder described itself as a “proud daughter of Boom Boom Afridi and angel of Nadia Shahid.” The account holder has garnered 5,613 followers in the name of Ansha Afridi.
Sharing the screenshot, Afridi said: “I would like to clarify that none of my daughters have any social media accounts, so please disregard any ‘accounts’ or ‘news’ that are associated with my daughters.”

Shahid Afridi is a loving yet protective father to his five daughters. In one of the shows, he had said that he discourages his children from using social media on mobile phones. Afridi even asked Shehzad Roy to campaign for the ban on the TikTok application.
“[Shehzad] raises his voice for so many social issues, he should get TikTok banned. I don’t like TikTok. There are so many children in remote areas of Pakistan who haven’t received an education, but they’ve received WiFi. Even to be on the internet, you need to be educated. Look at how TikTok is being used in the country. Our entire younger generation, 12-13 years olds, have phones in their hands. My daughter is 19, I have given her a cell phone now. These children get diverted by things like TikTok when they should be focusing on their goals.”
Earlier, he had said that none of his daughters would join cricket or any other sports. In his book, Game Changer, the cricketer had stated that he will not allow his daughters to have outdoor sports no matter what feminists say about him.
