Suzuki introduces new Swift GL in Pakistan (Limited Edition)

Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has launched Suzuki Swift GL CVT Limited Edition in Pakistan and bookings for the vehicle are underway at the company’s authorized dealerships across the country.

Surprisingly, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has debuted the Swift GL Limited Edition. Since its arrival in February of this year, the all-new Swift has quickly acquired a significant piece of the market despite its expensive price.

According to the details, the Swift GL Limited Edition differs from the GL CVT base model in only two ways. These improvements include a rear top spoiler and a center armrest between the passenger seats.

The improvements come for a big premium, as the new Swift GL Limited Edition costs Rs. 3,450,000, which is Rs. 30,000 more than the standard Swift GL CVT. In other details, it has the same naturally aspirated 1.2-liter four-cylinder K12C Dualjet petrol engine that sends 90 hp and 120 Nm of torque to the front wheels via a CVT automatic gearbox.

Other features include:

  • 2 airbags
  • Climate Control
  • Anti-lock Braking System
  • Hill Start Assist
  • Vehicle Stability Control
  • USB and Aux Connectivity
  • Sat-Nav
  • Cruise Control
  • Keyless entry
  • Electronic parking brake

The new Swift GL Limited Edition costs PKR 3,450,000, which is PKR 30,000 more than the Swift GL CVT basic model. This represents a significant premium for the upgrades.

Sources claim that PSMC is continuing to export units, including Swift, despite the recent price increases and production reductions. Its sales will probably increase once a new Limited Edition variation is added.
