UK adventure specialist to tour Pakistan after 20 years!

According to Explore’s official website, the tour to Pakistan will cover Fairy Meadows National Park, Hunza Valley, Khunjerab Pass, Deosai National Park, and Hopar Valley. The adventure specialist will be offering tours after 20 years.

In glad tidings for Pakistan’s tourism, a UK-based adventure specialist Explore is offering tours to Pakistan after 20 years. Explore recently rolled out its 2022 brochure featuring trips to Pakistan.

Its two-week Karakoram Highway overland tour sees the operator return to Pakistan for the first time since 2001. Costing around £ 2,299 per person, the 13-night itinerary takes in the country’s beautiful landscapes, mountains, and valleys. It also includes accommodation, breakfast, transport, and excursions. However, flights would have to be booked separately.

According to Explore’s official website, the tour will cover Fairy Meadows National Park, Hunza Valley, Khunjerab Pass, Deosai National Park, and Hopar Valley.

Interestingly, the development comes as the UK recently canceled its cricket tour to Pakistan amid security threats. The decision received mass backlash as people spoke in favor of Pakistan. Even foreigners claimed that Pakistan is very safe. Perhaps the UK is looking to make amends on its decision.

Nevertheless, the development is still a welcoming one, especially since PM Khan vowed to boost tourism in Pakistan.

On World Tourism Day, PM Khan announced Pakistan’s readiness to facilitate tourism businesses in every possible manner.

He further added that domestic tourism has already increased manifold in the past few years.

“I would now like to invite the world to visit Pakistan and experience its untapped touristic value,” he said on the occasion.

Pakistan going to great lengths to promote tourism

To facilitate foreign tourists, Pakistan introduced e-visa for 193 countries while providing visa on arrival facilities for 50 countries. The government developed National Tourism Strategy 2020-30 along with National Action Plan 2020-25 to provide a national framework for the development of the tourism sector.

Moreover, under the National Minimum Standards for Tourism and Hospitality sector, Pakistan offers the best quality services to local and international tourists.

The PTI government also revamped Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) to fully focus on making Pakistan a known tourist destination.
