Will Kareena Kapoor replace Saba Qamar in Hindi Medium 2?

As per the fresh reports, Bollywood starlet Kareena Kapoor has been roped into essaying the lead character in Hindi Medium 2 previously played by Pakistani diva Saba Qamar.

Previously reports were rife that Bollywood’s popular onscreen couple Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol were signed in to play the lead characters.

Reports have also claimed that the lead actor from the first installment Irrfan Khan who is currently on a break due to his illness will continue his role in the second installment of Hindi Medium. Moreover, it was revealed that Kareena is yet to give her confirmation for the project.

Hindi Medium 1 was a Bollywood debut for Pakistan’s Saba Qamar. The flawless actress of Pakistan perfectly essayed her role as the female lead in the movie that garnered her massive appreciation from the critics in India. The movie also won the accolade of Film Fare. Hindi Medium 2 will be flash forward by a decade. The film will feature in Irrfan Khan as Raj while Pia has finished high school in Hindi Medium and figuring what to do next.

Earlier hearsay had suggested that Sara Ali Khan would be playing the role of the daughter in the sequel, however, as of yet, the news remains unconfirmed. ‘Hindi Medium’ director Saket Choudhary will not be directing the second installment of the movie but Homi Adajani will replace him who has directed movies like Cocktail and Finding Fanny.

Perhaps due to the ban imposed on the Pakistani artists working in the Bollywood Saba Qamar has not been able to reprise her role in the second installment of Hindi medium.

The audiences in Pakistan, China, India, and other countries have given a great reception to the first installment of the movie. The second installment with the same interesting storyline is expected to woo the audiences.
