Kurulus Osman to be broadcasted in Pakistan during Ramazan

Turkish drama Kurlus Osman will be broadcasted in Pakistan during Ramazan. The series is a sequel to the popular Turkish drama Dirilis Ertugrul.

Popular Turkish series Kurulus Osman will be aired in Pakistan during Ramazan by a private television channel.

Kurulus Osman is the sequel to the entertainment behemoth Turkish historical series, Dirilis Ertugrul. While Dirilis Ertugrul revolved around the life of a Turkish warrior, Ertugrul Gazi, the father of Osman I and who was the founder of the Ottoman Empire, Kurulus Osman (Establishment Osman) depicts the life of Osman I and his fight leading to the establishment of a Turkish empire.

Turkish channel is broadcasting the second season of Kurulus Osman while a Pakistani private TV channel will be broadcasting the first season of Kurulus Osman. Season 2 of the series is being watched by a significant audience in Pakistan.

The broadcast of the show in Urdu dubbing is expected to garner massive views. Meanwhile, Pakistan Television, PTV is already broadcasting the third season of Dirilis Ertugurul after an agreement with the Turkish state television and the production company.

Last month, the Speaker of National Assembly Asad Qaiser had met Turkish actor Burak Ozcivit who is playing Osman in the serial Kurulus Osman.

A picture of Asad Qaiser and Burak Ozcivit went viral on social media on weekend stimulating the interests of the Pakistani fans.

Qaiser took to Twitter and shared the photo with him. In the caption of the post, he wrote: “It was a pleasure to met with @burakozcivit from #KurulusOsman. I thoroughly enjoy watching period pieces in the little time I get. Hoping Kurulus: Osman to be another memorable watch.”

He also visited the set of Kurulus Osman. Kurulus Osman is the sequel to the famous Turkish serial, Dirilis Ertugrul. In another post, he appreciated the producers and director of the series for making an epic series like Kurulus Osman.

“I must appreciate @mmehmetbozdag for penning down a masterpiece like #KurulusOsman. Thank you for navigating us through the sets. It has been an incredible experience,” wrote Qaiser on Twitter in another post. Asad Qaiser announced that the production team of Dirilis Ertugrul is expected to visit Pakistan after Eid.
